Our Fes Desert Tours 2 Days will start with the experience glimpses of the Middle Atlas. Our first stop will be a city, they call “Little Switzerland“. Then we will drive to Azrou, a Berber village in the middle of the famous cedar forest- the largest in morocco- where you will see the Barbary Apes and we stop for taking photos with them.
Afterwards we will continue our trip to Midelt, along the magnificent hills and mountains of the Atlas. There we stop for having lunch, then we will be travelling through the fascinating Tizi n talghemt pass the Ziz Gorges. Taking in views of the high atlas plateau, you will notice how the scenery changes to reveal hints of the desert as you approach the city of Errachidia, you will travel along the luxuriant Ziz Valley, stopping for panoramic views along the way to Erfoud. When we arrive at the borders of the Erg Chebbi dunes we make a short stop at a Hotel to enjoy some fresh Moroccan Mint Tea.
After that your Camel Trek Experience to the heart of the dunes will start. It will take you around one hour by camel to get to the berber camp, where you will spend your unforgetable night under the stars of the Sahara.
The camel man will wake you up early in the morning, so that you can watch the best sunrise of your life. You’ll peacefully ride back to the Hotel on your camel. Meanwhile you couldn’t fail to appreciate the unique beauty of the spectacular desert. It is a fascinating spectacle, when the Erg Chebbi sand dunes are changing their color with the light during the day progresses. After a invigorating breakfast you will start your last day back to Fes via the same way, but we will plan different stops for you to enjoy the beautiful landscape of Southern Morocco.
